Best Makeup and Hair From Premiere Hair and Beauty Show Orlando!
Makeup Artist, Betsy Ginnane, with Peter Coppola invited me to work as a Makeup Artist for the Premiere Hair Show Orlando. This was my 10th year working the Premiere hair show and it’s one of my favorite events of the year! On the last day of the show, I decided to bring my camera to try to get a few mini photoshoots done in the downtime. We had the best makeup and hair team and such amazing models. Most of the models were from the modeling agency, Professional Pretty, in Winter Park and all of them were gorgeous and super sweet. I couldn’t have asked for a better group! After the show was over, I found the quietest spot with the best lighting ( which happened to be right outside the restroom) and asked a few girls if they wanted to do a quick photoshoot. They had their hair and makeup done ( after 12 long hours of wear) but had already changed into their everyday clothing. Everyone knows I love stylized photography but this turned out better than I could have asked, you know, for shooting outside of a bathroom!!

Best makeup team yet!
I was so excited when Betsy Ginnane asked me to be a part of the team for Peter Coppola at the Premiere Hair Show. She’s an amazing makeup artist and we hit it off right away. Fun fact – Betsy was pregnant and was told to stay off her feet for the weekend but she’s a trooper and pushed her way through! Tina Nguyen was the third makeup artist in our team and we all worked really well together. It was the best makeup team I’ve worked with yet! It was originally supposed to be 4 artists but it ended up being just us 3 and it worked out perfectly. I’ve worked with many teams over the years and I have had some good ones and some not so good ones ( cough cough paul mitchell – worst haircut ever!) but this was by far the best makeup team I have worked with at the show.

Our hair team was so much fun! The educators for the Premiere hair show were Peter Coppola Artistic Director Steven Lightfoot, as well as educators Ashleigh Coartney and Elizabeth Rim. They had 3 key looks they wanted for the show – Glamour/Red Carpet, Street Style and Business. I really loved all the looks for different reasons. Just by coincidence, I ended up doing makeup for most of the looks for the glam models. I wish I would have been able to get a few shots of them in their wardrobe because the dresses were amazingggg but I was very happy with how the beauty photography turned out regardless.

I worked Premiere a few years ago and it was a lot of fun…hectic but fun. It amazed me when the doors opened and people RAN into the show..it was like the running of the bulls, minus the bulls of course!
Stunning!! I would have never guessed those photographs were taken outside a bathroom. Very nice!!
